Consultants are the primary relationship manager for our clients and play the lead role in managing, project timelines and ensuring that clients generate significant value from their partnership with Got Green Energy. Consultants will also help define operational processes within Got Green Energy. While the majority of the Consultant’s work is completed at Got Green Energy’s office near Tyson’s Corner, VA, Consultants can expect to spend up to 30% of their time at client sites conducting workshops, presenting performance assessment reports, and leading training sessions. Part Time Mechanical Engineer / Energy AuditorGot Green Energy Description Got Green Energy, an energy efficiency solutions firm in the DC Metro Area, is in search of a part time Mechanical Engineer / Energy Auditor to facilitate in the process of identifying energy efficiency and energy conservation measures and providing energy modeling to back up these claims. The Mechanical Engineer shall develop system options and recommendations for improvements as well as prepare CAD drawings, specifications, reports and cost estimates. They must be capable of performing heating and cooling loads, heat transfer, fluids analysis, pressure calculations, and equipment selections as related to building engineered systems. They will work independently on larger projects, and may also be required to give direction to Junior Engineers and technicians in the future. Applicants should be able to direct and coordinate activities concerning utilities and energy consumption. This includes energy conservation measures, energy audits, contract negotiation, and cost benefit analysis in addition to the following experience:
